Family Orientated Probate Service

In addition to his probate work, Gordon Brockman has worked for 16 years at a number of Auction Houses, as an Auctioneer and Valuer. He has found many valuable items through this, and continues to search for that hidden treasure.
Example:- A Paul Storr (1770-1844) silver punch cup. Probably the greatest goldsmith/silversmith, working in the Neoclassical and other styles during the late 18th century early 19th century many pieces of his work were for royalty. Sold for £2000.
An Art Deco enamelled pocket travel clock with leather case in the form of a suitcase sold for £1400.

Sadly in this day and age some house clearance companies have profited from others misfortune. In view of this, he decided to specialise in Probate Valuations. This, he feels is the only way he can identify items of value for the benefit of the families, that would otherwise benefit house clearance companies.

After the Probate has been completed he can then organise items for sale at auction with the appropriate Aucton House. Having sat in the Auctioneer's chair and auctioned a rare 15th century Roman Catholic Missal for £15000, which resulted in all the money going to the house clearance firm, he is now determined to ensure all monies go to the family where it belongs.

Another contribution Gordon makes is to the Charity circuit, and over the years he has raised monies for a number of organisations, and to date has raised over £100,000 for good causes.
Gordon's expertise has also led to appearances on television programs such as Antiques Road Trip and Put your Money Where Your mouth Is.
